I teach a variety of classes at the Y for all populations and try to educate my class participants and clients that getting fit isn’t a sprint, it’s a marathon. Be patient, be committed, be positive and reap the benefits.
Staying well emotionally and mentally are just as important.
I love using strength circuits in my classes. I try and educate my clients and participants by telling them which muscles they are working, the name of the exercise, and why it’s important to keep those muscles strong based on their function.
I try to mix up my routines and formats regularly to keep things new and challenging.
Like the saying goes “if it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you “.
