Livestrong at the YMCA

Developed in partnership with the LIVESTRONG Foundation, LIVESTRONG is a small-group exercise and peer-support program designed to help you if you have cancer or have experienced cancer by strengthening your body, mind and spirit. Participation in our program has been shown to improve fitness and quality of life as well as decrease cancer-related fatigue.

Program Details

A 10-week program. Classes meet virtually (via video conference) twice per week for 75-90 minutes. Each session includes education regarding healthy habits for cancer recovery and prevention as well as a guided, progressive exercise program. The YMCA of Greater Boston is able to offer this program at no cost to the community thanks to the generous support from organizations like Beth Israel Lahey Health and other committed supporters.
